Transforming a cellar into a workshop Timelapse

I Finally have a workshop!! It's been a while since I wanted one, and I finally found a cellar that I was able to transform into a workshop.

I will be posting more Cafe racer builds video soon, the lockdowns we had due to the Covid has delayed many of build unfortunately but I should be able to be back working on them soon!

really love the tiles. Super easy to take em out if you drop a screw or spill something. The cool thing is that it won't take you all day to install like other flooring options and because of this, cleanup is a breeze. Having this type of floor will train you to keep track of your materials more too lol.

I've said it before and will say it again. Woman want the big beautiful kitchen, appliances marble stone island in the house. Men want a garage to be able to work on, view our machinery and memorabilia we have collected along with the super cool tools. Nice job boss!! I could spend all weekend in your shop hanging out and messing around with my bikes.

The craftsmanship of whoever build that building / cellar, that would not make standards here in Denmark.
But i have a feeling something better will come out of it, then what went into it to start with, and thats something good we should all strive for.

I've got a similar tile in my garage that I put down when I moved in. I've got the vented tile like these under the 2 cars and solid tile in the work area and walkway around/between the cars. It makes finding screws and other dropped bits much easier when they fall on the solid tiles. Unless you are dealing w/ snow run-off and rain drips most of the time (parking spaces) then I prefer the solid tile.

Also... putting down a layer of landscape fabric before the tile helps reduce the clicking when you walk across it (and lets water flow through)

I love how organized everything is. It looks like you could start work right away and not waste anytime looking for stuff or walking around "stuff"....oy, what a message here, I have seen it done, so get going and build one yourself....I agree the white paint helps tremendously, I did that in my storage garage since I did not have that much light, the white paint just on teh walls helps...then it got cold, but now it's ready to resume, awesome shop !

I have 10mm thick interlocking foam tiles in the garage. No damp smells and they can easily be pulled up if damaged. Bike stands dig in so I have planks and pads for tyres and stands. To be honest there is only one place the bike can go so I might as well put the planks straight on the floor at high load areas.

I'm impressed by the first aid box. I've never seen any one else include that in their workshop.
