Ultramarine blue would be a better choice since you will run into problems with pthalo blue (green shade) notice the purples you got were dull and not a bright violet shade? Ulta ram rinse blue would give a vibrant violet and not look kind of muddy.

This is great, thanks! I was looking for a different idea because those charts make my eyes hurt. I will be going to start this right now! Mostly because I received some paints as a gift and some of the colors...well, they don't look like the others I have of that color's name....so now mixing is a mess and I was no pro to being with! I always hated those other charts. I just started color mixing by experiment with different colors. Since I started paint more, I found that I need to make a color charts so that I can better chose colors
