In this video, I played 100 days in OOBLETS... a funky little game where you collect creatures called Ooblets to grow, compete in dance battles, and ultimately save the land of OOB. Over my 100 days I had three simple goals: to collect ALL 54 Ooblets, reach full friendship with every villager, and uncover the dark secrets hidden in Badgetown on my journey to save the world...

Can you imagine Charlie’s neighbors probably on a zoom call or something and then hearing the magnificent toad voice of Charlie and being like “oh yea, that’s my neighbor. She’s been doing that a lot recently. We’re beginning to think she’s half toad.”

I don't know why, but I feel intrinsic joy when this game takes something normal, then adds oob to the beginning, just makes me feel happy for some reason

Everyone out here talking about Charlie Toad Voice and such but can we actually talk about how Charlie reunited One Direction in less than 55 days. I mean that's a bigger accomplishment then idk saving your town or something.

You're clearly a much better gamer than I am because I took one look at every minigame in Port Forward, said fuck it and paid for all of them. Not playing Ooblets to play flappy bird instead, and the button pressing stress is terrible for my chronic illness symptoms. I am SO glad they added the option to skip them, 10/10 accessibility.

11:28 That's actually really interesting, because it shows that not only are the cutscenes in-engine, they're in active play.

My guess is that the Ooblets are programmed to follow the Player Character around at a set distance, but the cutscene of you fixing the house kept teleporting the Player Model around, and their pathfinding was having an issue getting to you every time.

My guess for why Shrumbo ran off is that, since the Player Model wasn't needed right then, it was just moved out of frame and he was just following it.
