As someone with 2200+ hours I can say that if you take breaks this game can stay fun for a long long time so I'd say just keep going

As a person that plays Sea of Thieves a lot, sailing on the seas can be hours long, so hearing you say that you have been playing it for 6 hours is not that bad

For future reference, if someone sinks your ship at a treasury or shrine and you have loot on a mermaid, they can’t access the mermaid so just lurk around until they leave to grab your stuff

Instead of always anchoring your ship just raise your sails. It's easier and if another ship pulls up, you can just lower them and get out of there quickly. It's much more efficient!

The Glitterbeard event is a memorial to one of the devs at Rare and he passed away due to C-Vid complications so they made a easteregg for him. Its also one of the rarest achievements on xbox.
