That China's operating speed, enabled by ignoring every safety limit which original train developers (of Japan, Germany, or Canada) set.

Actually the meglav train isn't technically a train (believe me I am in Shanghai and it's more like an MRT ) (and I'm Chinese

I think this list is flawed. The french are well known for making the fastest "railed" trains in the world the TGV has been clocked at 574.8kph. I also think that although we class Maglev as a train it is a completely different technology. It is not restricted by friction like railed trains therefore should not be put against railed transport where speed is concerned.

Did you notice something on that list? No trains are American! We used to be the leaders in rail transportation, and now we have become pathetic! We need to build HSR!

...All Top 10 fastest trains are made in japan. This list sucks.
This is the real list:
1993 Germany TR-07 450 km/h (280 mph) (manned)
1994 Japan MLU002N 431 km/h (268 mph) (unmanned)
1997 Japan MLX01 531 km/h (330 mph) (manned)
1997 Japan MLX01 550 km/h (340 mph) (unmanned)
1999 Japan MLX01 552 km/h (343 mph) (manned/five-car formation). Guinness authorization.
2003 China Transrapid SMT (built in Germany) 501 km/h (311 mph) (manned/three formation)
2003 China Transrapid SMT (built in Germany) 476 km/h (296 mph) (unmanned)
2003 Japan MLX01 581 km/h (361 mph) (manned/three formation). Guinness authorization.
2015 Japan L0 590 km/h (370 mph) (manned/seven-car formation)
2015 Japan L0 603 km/h (375 mph) (manned/seven-car formation)

You stupid, "AGV Italo" is not produced by Italy, he have just name "Italo" because it operate in Italy, but it is pure French Alstom technology and it is only train in the world who have power in all train wheels. You wrote the same like "BMW China", because someone purchased BMW in China. Also Eurostar is actualy modified French TGV technology, it is a French, in UK, they just import trains, they don't have a technology for trains.

Beside, Chinese train is old German ICE 3 technology, so it is not near French AGV technology, plus Maglev in China is German Transrapid - Siemens technology and it is not a train, it is Maglev with 20 km track, so Maglev arrive 15 sek. before on 20 km distance than conventional trains.
