This video presents a guide of the 10 fastest high speed trains in the world.

Since decades ago, Asian and European countries have been competing to achieve the best high speed networks 🚊 in the world. Although first introduced in Japan, high-speed rail was truly established in Europe during the 80's and 90's and it continued to grow ever since. Recently, technological advancements have pushed Asian countries (especially China 🇨🇳) back to the top of the table, now overtaking Europe in all the important aspects: number of people using high-speed network 🛤, price per kilometer 💵 as well as operating and top speeds.
The big outsider of this top remains America, which mainly focuses on air travel, but has recently signed a contract for the first project of high speed rail and will classify in future rankings. And since talking about outsiders, there's also a surprise 🎁 entry into this top.
Enjoy the video and be ready for the high-speed revolution.

Japanese N700 series Shinkansen are also tied with Thalys at 300 km/h (186 mph).

H5 Series is currently running at 320 km/h, along with related E5 and E6 Series, only between Utsunomiya and Morioka section on Tohoku Shinkansen.
360 km/h is currently under R&D at JR East, because Japan has strict noise standards.

H5 Series Shinkansen is the same train as E5 Series Shinkansen, but with different ownerships and color stripe. E5 (pink stripe) is owned by JR East (East Japan Railway Company) and H5 (purple stripe) is owned by JR Hokkaido (Hokkaido Railway Company). Both of them are commonly coupled with red E6 Series (Komachi) running on Tohoku Shinkansen at 320 km/h between Tokyo and Morioka. After Morioka Station, E5/H5 continues on the dedicated Shinkansen line towards Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto and E6 turns left to the re-gauged line converted from former narrow gauge line, running at maximum of 130 km/h and stops only at major stations on the line (like a limited express train) towards Akita.

In Europe, when trains started running in the early XIX century (1800s) there was a limit of 14km hour maximum speed. It was thought that greater speeds could cause fainting or severe illnesses to the passengers.

However, the Japanese Shinkansen runs on the complicated terrain of Japan with 16-car trains every 10 minutes. There has never been an accident that nobody is killed for 55 years. And it has never been buried in the ground.
The E5-type in this video is called the Tohoku Shinkansen, which runs in severe conditions for the railway. The type one runs in the Tohoku region. The area is hot in summer and heavy snow in winter. And in 2011, the big earthquake occurred, you know.
Still, the type runs at that speed.
Also, the Japanese Shinkansen designers focus on braking rather than a fast pace.
Again, it runs at that speed.

Alot of other trains weren't featured, but good job with the music there- it gave me cancer
Edit: The TGV thalys actually operates at up to 320km/h or 200mph

The first Maglev stations are just about to open in Tokyo and Nagoya. All infrastructure is basically ready! Signs informing as well!
Tickets are expected to be pricey, more expensive than for the regular Shinkansen, which offers amazing quality service anyway - as though you were sitting on the quiet plane! For sightseeing, watching the Fuji Mount behind the windows, canyons, valleys, Japanese Alps, is absolutely thrilling... It`s really worthy... Ganbatte! An interesting point - Test Shinkansen trains n700s series, were tested and ran at the speed of 460km/h, but Japanese Authorities considered this unnecessary and unsafe ... :)
