As said below, the French TGV is neglected in this video. Particularly annoying is that at 1:00 it says that the Eurostar e320 is by Siemens Verlaro but shows the Eurostar e300 version instead, which was derived from the French TGV by Alstom and has been in service already since the opening of the Eurotunnel in 1994. This is the classic Eurostar! Furthermore, the TGV had been operating at the same 320 km/h on certain French high speed lines years before the e320 joined the Eurostar fleet.

The Buzz you are wrong. The TGV Duplex has a top speed of 357.8mph. And Maglev is not a train. A train is defined as a group of cars - meaning they have WHEELS ON A STEEL TRACK - pulled by a locomotive that houses the power. Electric trains are worthy of being on this list. Maglev is again NOT A TRAIN. Levitation is not power.

Actually the Eurostar doesn't reach the fastest speed "under the English Channel", on the contrary it is one of the slowest points of the whole route. If I remember correctly clocking at 160 km/h
