I saw Interstellar on 70mm IMAX film. I have never been able to rewatch it because a TV screen is nowhere close to that experience.

I just secured seats for IMAX Melbourne Museum in their 1570 screening of Oppenheimer. Very exciting stuff!

In my country there is no IMAX theaters for this, just digital...as a film lover this is sad.

You could say it before 2010. Sadly most theaters exclusively use digital projectors now.

I saw the movie in Ontario, California. The movie was breathtaking.

I'm in the Dallas area, and all showings at our 70mm theater were booked for weeks. I kept an eye out and was able to find a good seat at 2:35am on Sunday. Got out at 6am, but it was one of the most magical experiences I've ever had watching a movie.

I am so proud that my country is (except UK) only one country which has IMAX 70 mm format in Europe, but I saw crazy movie-tourism there, it was very crowded, people all over Europe arrived to Prague and I felt like at some music festival, so many people in cinema. :-)

One thing people don't realise is most Movie theatres even today project film in 2k, not even 4k. IMAX 70mm film projects an image which is 18k
