I am a young college student. I just recently visited Auschwitz in Poland studying abroad. Ever since then, so much of my life has changed. I am now a new atheist after I spent my entire childhood in the evangelical church, and groomed to be a foot soldier in the far right’s rebellion against freedom. Thank you TellTale for your videos. They are a helpful part of my deconversion. I’ve been watching them for some time, and others similar to them. It’s good to know others share my experience. It’s going to be hard, but I will not stand with those who embrace the politics of inhuman tyranny!

Florida is also trying to compile a list of trans folks by requesting medical records, etc. I'm trans and have a lot of medical problems completely unrelated to that, but my medical records show me as trans... I'm honestly really scared and scared for other trans people's safety and privacy here. I hope more people will take notice. Thank you for shining light on this deeply disturbing situation. The fact that they're actually using the term "eradicate" isn't disturbing, it's downright horrifying... "eradicate" is what one does to infestations, just like "exterminate". The terms are interchangeable, really... especially where such topics as this are concerned. The idea that ANYONE could applaud the use of such language for describing fellow humans, particularly in this day and age where we have SO MUCH HINDSIGHT on this, is just unbelievable...

As a relative of two trans people, one living in a solid "red state, " I consider this to be of more than casual or academic interest. This is a potential danger to members of my family. Thanks for alerting us to this threat.

As a ftm trans person, I feel unsafe in the US. I'm lucky to live in a state considered as a trans safe state, however I still experience discrimination, by my peers and own family. For that reason I'm still not safe. The things happening to people like me is absolutely a genocide. It's heartbreaking that people on the far right think the way they do about people just trying to be they're most authentic self.

I’m a waitress in Wisconsin, considered to be a swing state, and WEEKLY I will hear tables of wealthy “centrists” talk about “confused little boys forced to become girls by their parents” and “the acceptance has gone too far! They’re putting litter boxes in schools!” Just two days ago I heard a group of TEACHERS outraged that they “have to keep secrets from the parents.” That “The parents should know that Bobby wants to be called Kristen.” My blood was boiling. There will be blood on the hands of these bystanders.

One of my best friends is a Trans woman in TN. She told me about what's happened at Vanderbilt re: Trans care; absolutely horrifying, in my opinion. I immediately thought of how the nazis made lists of who to, well, 'attack'. Thank you so much for posting about this list of steps. Now I know that I'm not crazy when my alarms start going off. Most of these people could easily go through life rarely if ever coming in contact with a trans person or hearing about a trans issue. The fact they actively seek out every scrap of trans news then say they're having it shoved down their throats... it's baffling.

The general definition of a cultural genocide is “the deliberate and systematic destruction of a culture”. I'm FTM. I'm also Canadian. I have friends and family across the US. I cannot go and visit them, or go to events (such as conventions or family gatherings etc) because I fear crossing the border, especially in some states.

Also, Owen, the death is happening. By restricting access to gender affirming care, they WILL force the suicide rates up.

I went to the Holocaust Museum in Dallas two months ago and they have a room for the 10 Stages and I thought the exact same thing. This is what they're doing to trans people and it's already underway (in the steps). It's absolutely terrifying.

I will never understand how anybody could mistake allowing suicidal children access to a chance to no longer have those kinds of thoughts and equate it to the most horrific acts only a monster could do to a child.
