If you need to find your International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number to change cell phone carriers or to report your phone stolen, we can show you how to find it fast. There are 2 methods you can use if you have your phone.
- Find the IMEI on iPhone or Android by dialing *#06# and the number will pop up on your screen.
- You can get the IMEI in your phone settings.
If you don't have your phone, locate the IMEI with one of these methods.
- Check the box your phone came in. The IMEI should be labeled on the side.
- You can locate the IMEI by using a desktop, too.
Some phones have a Mobile Equipment Identifier, or MEID, instead of an IMEI, but they are essentially the same.
