How many ways is there to be able to become a qualified Electrician and get paid well?

It doesn't happen in a few weeks - I can tell you that.

There is a number of options for all ages of people to be able to enter the electrical trade.

With the electrical industry growing rapidly every year, there is a good call for electricians all over the world.

You can specialize in LED lighting, EV charger's, Solar power.....

What ever you career path takes you down it all starts off with becoming an electrician.

To be able to advance in the industry you need to know the basics and have the qualifications as proof to be able to turn it all into a business.

if you feel you are confident to do the job, but don't have the qualifications to back it up, there is no way you can legally sign the work off for the customers insurance.

There is no way around it, you need to get those bits of paper.

An interesting thing I discovered for electricians who have worked in the trade all their like but have now qualifications - there is an option in there for you too.

I know this is months late but, if your older and looking to start your career as an electrician but can’t find apprenticeships, i say the other best thing to do is go to trade school get your level 2 that way you’ll stand out to employers

I’m 35 and re training to be a sparky now through city and guilds level 2/3 working full time nights to keep the bailiffs at bay! Loving it though and learning lots!! Plus my old man was a domestic installer so good source of information especially on ohms law! 😂😂

Im 35 and retraining to be a spark. Im doing one of the online courses at the moment as i work full time and have a house to pay for. If i had known what i know now 20 years ago, i would have done the apprenticeship :/, well least im trying to make up for lost time now haha

You go off to university and study a degree in electrical engineering. Oops. What I meant to say is, that's how you become a _good_ electrician that understands what they are doing.
