I wil tell you someting, today I had a horrible day at work. I can speak both languages. French and english. Actually three, because of my mother tongue. Let me tell you something yes, I have learned french language by force, you can force me to speak french, but I will hate it forever. Hate it hate it hate it. And I hate the way you treat people. I swear to God in my head I was like: oh, thanks for verifying that, I thought we’re in Germany on 1940!!!! If it was not for my lovely-gentle open minded boyfriend who lives it quebec, I would’ve left these people and their fanatic, small-minded head long time ago. There are other people in the world, but I know most of you have not gone farther than lac saint jacque. That’s why you think Even God is Quebecer. You can not fight an international language. People chose that for a reason. And yes, People like me and a whole other that I know will speak french, but we have the utmost negative feeling towards this language and all fanatics and small minded people of your government. End of discussion. You can lash me, you can jail me, you can do whatever you want, but it will only feed my hate towards this language and this languagist culture. It’s very close to racism. I created a word for that. It’s languagisme.

Québec is French…just speak French 🤦🏽‍♂️ if you want to learn the indigenous language then you can do that by yourself. But French has been the official language of Quebec for a while now.
