How to Store & Transport Painted Miniatures

More ways to store and transport your miniatures. This paper tray works best with magnetized miniatures, but it could just as easily be used with non-magnetized miniatures, but you'll miss out on the easy transport options.

Immediately got 2 of these and screwed em on top of each other, it is the perfect solution for all my work-in-progress, brushes, pallette, etc. and really cleaned up my work area. Thanks for the tip, golden-voiced-youtube-man!

If you want to lock your trays in, glue some magnets to the tall lip of the tray, then install the tray backwards with the lip in first, works great!

Bought one a few days ago and did this. Thanks alot for the tip!
Also, it fits great into a Kallax/Expedit shelf!

This is exactly what I've been needing!  Thank you so much for this video.  Ever since I starting magnetizing my minis (a year or two ago) I've been struggling to figure out how to store/display them in an effective way.  And now I have it!!!

I have some super cheap metal tool boxes from Harbor Freight and filled them with hundreds of magnetized Tyranids. It's great for transporting an entire army as they have handles and you can use the lids and walls as storage space. They don't stack, however.

This looks great though and using it on a desk for WIP projects would be great.

I combined 2 of these kvissle boxes with one of the large Forenkla travel suitcases. Both fit in nicely with extra space for books/dice etc. It comes with rubber wheels, so the weight is a none issue at this point. I'm able to transport even large apocalypse size armies with that combo.

Wondered if I needed to add screws to make it a bit more stable, thanks for adding this in your review 👍 Also noticed that these fit nicely in Kallax.

Just to add for inspiration of usage of this product. I will use it on my desk to order my soldering projects and add my soldering equipment on top.
Not sure but maybe I'll add a piece of wood to the back that is higher than my equipment to be able to hang some tools or even link 3 together and add wood side walls and a top piece with hooks in it and a Ikea LEDBERG Led strip... Always full of ideas ;-)

That's very neat! It would be cool to add a door to the front. Nothing fancy...just a piece of wood cut to size and either a piano hinge at the bottom or 2-3 small hinges, and some kind of latch. I'm thinking of this mostly because I would be afraid of an accidental tip over and the drawers sliding out. Also it would help keep dust off of them.

I've been doing something very similar but with steel cookie sheets for maybe 20 years. Works great.

You might want to run a hinged bar (or something similar) down the front of the cabinet to act as a latch to keep the drawers from sliding out when you don't want them to, especially if you plan to use one of these as a transporter.

I took mine and wrapped it in comic book pages. Looks awesome

After removing the cork, I used some rattle can primer and green paint to decorate the shelves.

Think I may use that case for paint supplies.

I'd use some 3M spray adhesive and some felt cloth to line the drawers. Very easy to apply and would look really nice.
