Unexpected for me Bulgaria in 80. Moldova over the Ukraine, Croatia, Serbia??? Romania, Hungary, Poland on good way, Czech Republic outstanding! Peace and prosperity for all countries! Greetings form Romania 👍

This video is unbelievable nonsense!!! Czechia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia are not countries of Eastern Europe!!! These countries belongs to the Middle Europe. By the way, Prague is more to the West than e.g. Vienna or Stockholm. These countries used to be for hundreds years part of the Austrian empire. Eastern Europe consists of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine only. This deviding of Europe as it is in the video belongs to the period 1948-1989.The communism doesn't exist any more in Europe. Don't remind it!
This bad education and spreading of these offending stupidities should be punished!

Poland is quickly getting richer, having a 80 BILION increase in GDP between 2020-2021. And a 2K+ GDP per capita increase between 2020-2021. soo if it keeps going like that i think poland will by 2028 be richer than latvia

The baltic countries are really impressive, barely surviving extinction under russian occupation and now 3 of them in the top 5 of eastern europe.

It is very misleading. I believe that the nominal GDP data before 1990 are just all false. It does not show the real differences between these countries before 1990. E.g: There was no famine in Hungary or Czechoslovakia and, while the shelves were not full of stuff in shops, but they were not empty all the time like in Poland and Romania. So despite the nominal GDP shows no or just slight difference, the real standard of living were way much higher in Hungary, Czechoslovakia (2-3X).

It's a shock to me that Latvians are richer than Poles. I tuought it was the other way around and that Latvians are not doing well in comparison to other Baltoc states.

Per capita favours small countries as a tiny increase in GDP is shared amongst the small populus

GDP is about the worst figure you can take to determine the wealth of a nation.
The only figure which is (more or less) reliable is purchasing power parity, all the rest is merely noise which can be manipulated in any way to get the result you would like to get.
