This is the Cupra Born and it’s the Spanish firm’s first all-electric model. Those in need of a quick refresher: Cupra is the premium performance arm of Seat, and distinguishes itself with lots of copper highlights contrasted with black or grey surfaces.

Seat, meanwhile, is owned by Volkswagen so it comes as little surprise that the Born uses VW’s MEB architecture, which serves as the basis for most of the group’s affordable electric cars. Well, I bought the Seat Mii Electric and that one has been brilliant. So now we are one of the "first" to get this one in Norway and I suspect it will be even better. I was very sceptic about electric cars, so I bought an affordable car. But now we need a 5 seater, and this one will be the one we get.
