Beginning Nov. 15, 2017 the ER entrance will move to the hospital's main entrance.
A temporary ER waiting room and triage area has been created near the main entrance in the area previously occupied by the Center for Wound Healing and Mad City Coffee.
In June 2023, the hospital was renamed Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.
