I like the family scenes the best of all. It was unusual for families like theirs during this time period to spend as much times as possible together and to hold each other in such love and affection. Usually younger children are banished to the nursery with tutors and governesses and seen only for short period of times. When the Duke commented on the fact that the littles dined with them, Lady Violet said "We like each other." Gregory and Hyacinth are adorable and are thriving in the love and attention their older siblings bestow upon them. The older ones have each other's back and keep each other's secrets. It is so heartwarming to see a family that is not dysfunctional.
