INTJ or Architect personality type explained in a 2-minute animated video.

Architects are constantly deconstructing and rebuilding every idea and system they encounter to create an intricate model of the world into which everything must fit neatly. They usually show an interesting mix of traits being imaginative yet decisive, ambitious yet secretive, curious about everything yet focused. The life of the mind is very important to them.

It’s so funny that I’m both INTJ and an actual architect

Any INTJ artists? I still enjoy science and maths, but art is my real passion .

A really good thing about being an INTJ is that literally nobody can brainwash me. Because we're so stubborn to our own thought process and opinions, it's hard to move our ground.

You know that you're an INTJ when you take the test and then subconsciously spend the rest of the day being skeptical about it and trying to see if thats what you really are.

Before I knew I was INTJ I thought I was a borderline sociopath because of how well I can control my feelings and how I view friendships and the world and my whole way of thinking. I could never understand how ppl always focus on the problem instead of trying to find a solution. Or how they make decisions based on emotions or on a whim, it puzzled me because I thought everyone should be able to think the way that I do, find solutions, question the status quo. Why do they just accept how things are instead of trying to figure it out. Now I know and I am more understanding and at peace, it weird.

It gets tough and lonely when you know that most people are content with mediocrity.

I'm trapped in a sea of possible futures. It's exhausting.

Should point out that people who have the INTJ personality type (such as myself) that it has almost nothing to do with how intelligent you are, the personality types show what kind of person you are and how you view the world around you. For instance, I'm dumb as a rock, but I'm always so interested in how stuff works and how it can be used in it's full potential, but can't really do that since I'm a moron

I don't remember much of my childhood, except for feeling lonely,

Its hard being an INTJ in a discussion because most people just lose focus halfway through IF the conversation topics require more than just their attention span

I'm an INTJ, never felt like I fit in and didn't see the point in getting high grades (still don't). A pass was a pass in my eyes

I am an INTJ and I have had to work SO hard to develop friendships. Most of my life I’ve had 1 friend, and now that I have several I feel like a fraud? Like I’m lying all the time. Idk, I’m happier but I also feel less like myself??

I'm apparently an INTJ.
When I had to write essays in high school and college, I would become deeply upset if the prompt was something difficult to address, because I had an internal expectation to to "solve" the essay prompt by producing an essay that was indisputable. When I couldn't do that, I felt like a failure even if I got an A on the assignment. I've always become drawn to ideological styles of thinking that attempt to propose axioms that "solve" morality, at least in theory. It's as though I am never content with a way of understanding unless it is comprehensive, or if it is indisputably correct.
That's why I think I went into accounting as a profession. It's a field in which there are nearly 0 subjective decisions, in which the rules are already established. But I learned that the absence of opportunities to solve original problems is rather concerting, so I'm not sure I'll be happy doing that the rest of my life.
I don't know if I'll ever truly be happy.

Before I knew that I was had an INTJ personality, It always baffled me from a young age that people focus on the problem rather than finding the solution. Another is struggling in making friends, at some point I was known in class for being too blunt or being insensitive.

Ah, yes, INTJ. Where every high school kid wants to be you instead of accepting that the teenage years are just awkward and that they are not, in fact, geniuses.

Every time I watch a video about an MBTI personality I always end up spending more time reading the comments than watching the video. It’s so interesting to read about people‘s stories and how they might differ from or correlate with the “standard”.

Anyone else here been judged because they don’t smile or talk much and then feel like replying in a snarky way but the words never manage to leave your lips? I think I should be thankful for that.
