Hello, everyone.

As 2023 draws to a close, I wanted to take a few moments to wish everyone across the public service all the best during this holiday season and thank you for your hard work.

Canada’s public service is one of the best in the world, and that’s because of all of you.

I know that this year brought on a few hurdles along the way, but I want you to know that I will keep taking all the steps necessary to address the challenges that remain.

Since taking on this role, I continue to be amazed every day by your support, the quality of the work you do, and your dedication to serving Canadians across the country.

As we approach the end of the year, I hope you will take the much-needed time to recharge and reflect on your accomplishments and know that your contributions make a real difference.

No matter how you choose to mark the season, please accept my most heartfelt thanks for all that you do and my very best wishes for the year to come.
