The 5 best homeowners insurance companies in Florida are not ones that pay claims because all insurance companies hate paying claims. These companies will still fight paying claims to some degree, but usually they provide an easier experience to get paid. Their customer service is also a little better than other companies. Don't get me wrong, in many cases we still have to find lawsuits against them but they usually don't drag on lawsuits like other companies will i.e. Citizens and Universal as an example.

Here's a short list of a few companies that are better than the Citizens and Universal's of the world.

1. FedNat
2. Homeowners Choice/Tapco
3. Progressive

Find out the others when you watch the video....

They all have warts, they all don't treat people good but at least these companies have people you can talk with and for the most part take customer service seriously.

If you need help with a claim or have a question, please give me a call.

Thanks, but you may want to reshoot this because my copy had a lot of static.

I had Kin for one year but for my renewal in October 2022 raised my rate 250% on a canal in Naples. I had no claims and the hip roofed home with hurricane windows. I'm now searching for another company.

Hi Mike. What are your thoughts about KIN insurance? Someone told me that they are a good company to deal with. I never heard of them but I did read about them on in the internet. Just wanted your opinion. Thank you.

Mike, we’re looking at homes in St Johns County and Clay County. What insurance companies for those areas would you suggest? Here are the zip codes of the homes we are looking at: 32095, 32092, 32043. Do you have any information about JP Perry Insurance? I think they are a brokerage firm. When I contacted them they gave me quotes for separate companies. Why doesn’t Florida have all auto, home and umbrella under one company? Thank you kindly .for any information you can provide.
