Isn't it supposed to repair itself if you unplug the drive while running and then plug another one in ? Since they are hot-swap bays and since the data should be 100% intact with a failed drive.

Thanks for the video. I have a failed drive on my Dell R710 with a PERC H700 controller. I get the message "There are offline or missing virtual drives with preserved cache. Please check the cables and ensure that all drives are present. Press any key to enter the configuration utility." Can I follow you instructions or is there another step that I have to do because of the cache? TIA

i have a dell poweredge t320 and having PDR1001 error. i've replaced the faulty drive but it doesn't seem to read the new one. the new error is PDR10016. though it came to this, i still followed your instructions but haven't got any luck. 😔😔 please help

WoW... and thank you. I hope I could do this not only on RAID 10 but on RAID 1, too. I have a 'mess'ed up server which C: and D: their RAID 1 'happen' to be all degraded.
Would this be working on RAID 1 degraded HDD and there is only one(1) HDD for C: booted, and if I want to add a new HDD to do RAID-1 with C:?
