More Than 30 Far-Right Protests Planned for Today

Thousands of police officers are braced for further riots as more than 30 far right protests are planned today potentially aimed at immigration centres and legal practices which support asylum seekers across the UK.

Sir Keir Starmer promised communities 'will be safe' and repeated his message that those taking part would 'feel the full force of the law', after chairing a second emergency Cobra meeting last night.
