I used the candy icons from XFCE look. Far more modern then for the style I used Adwaita dark and i also added a drop down XFCE terminal when I press F12 and even on my pi 2 it’s pretty fast. Still hoping to get a pi4

That sounds great, one problem I have running the 64bits version: no wi-fi. refuse absolutely to recognize wi-fi. any idea to fix it???

Firstly sorry it's a pet peeve of mine Debian is Debby and Ian not Deebie if there is a girl out there with the name Deebie I'm sorry but it's Deb-e-an. Secondly the panel on the bottom is not a dock it's a panel so for a dock install plank and remove the button icons tab on the top panel. Thirdly XFCE has the best menu on the planet and it's called whisker it's all ready there just not on the panel by default. Get rid of the silly tree style menu and stick whisker in instead. Hey Presto!!! A modern desktop
