I liked how Lenny Susskind explains in his online Stanford lecture series that since all measurements naturally can only ever yield a 'real' answer, then the Eigen vector / value aspect of the mathematical model, parallels this in that the distinct eigen states "kind of have a 'reality' property" ... which is why we call them 'observables'.

Hey. Dropped out of college because they force you to take 2 years of classical physics when all I want is the quantum side of things. So, I've been watching some of your videos. To get rid of the LaTeX, you can create a userscript (GreeseMonkey, TamperMonkey, etc, depending on your browser) that does something like this: for(el of el.removeAttribute('title'); Or do it in the inspector, but that only works once (change unsafeWindow to window in that case).
