Fun fact: in early Minecraft version water could fill up every barrier, that mean that if you go on high limit and place water there the whole map will be in water, I remember building sponge castles to protect from it!

I have a theory for the lava bucket. You actually get the bucket with one iron and the other two is reinforcement for the inside. Once the outside melts thought the reinforcement floats away into tiny bits and becomes unusable
