My mom used to sing this to me all the time. She passed about a year ago and a few months ago I took a trip to Prague and heard this played by a jazz band on the Charles Bridge. It was almost like mom sending a message in a bottle.

such a good song. the first time i heard any version of this song was dr. teeth and the electric mayhem doing a cover of it on the muppet show; floyd was singing. it was on the first season, pretty sure it was ruth buzzi's episode.. i could be wrong
