Hermitcraft is the only gaming content I've ever watched, and I like it specifically *because* they act more chilled out and mature than the standard gaming channels. Dream has almost every trait I *don't* like about the rest of the gaming community. And he'd be a terrible fit because of it.
The hermits are very humble, Dream is a self centered a**
The hermits never, *ever* lie about achievements, or steal credit. Dream has been caught doing so multiple times.
The hermits foster great relationships with their fanbases and those of other hermits, always emphasizing they are all friends and they never want there to be rivalries or bullying. Dream encourages his fans to be dicks to people.
The hermits are intelligent and articulate, even the ones for whom English isn't a first language. Dream, I can't speak to his actual intelligence, but it doesn't really come across.
And none of that is even considering that dream only plays modded minecraft adventure games like manhunt or parkour. He isn't a particularly elite builder or redstoner, where all the hermits are at least one of those things, and many are both.
