Was having all sorts of issues running NC in an Proxmox LXC. Running in a VM seems a lot better, especially for incremental backups and general functionality. Thanks for the video.

The video is very interesting. Today I have Nextcloud working on a VM, with Next Talk + Turn Server without any problems. I was looking to migrate to a CT in order to separate the services. But based on the videos and comments I came to the conclusion that it would be better to wait for future improvements, rather than work on finer adjustments.

just switched my Nextcloud from a LXC to a VM because of the slow behaviour of PBS backing up big Containers

It will be hard to determine if this is a container vs vm issue without knowing ehat hardware you have. Is this using a zfs filesystem? Are these files cached in memory?

Was it better to switch to another instance instead of nextcloud.. like pidio .. or just owncloud ?
