Fun fact: Dark energy is the energy that is making the universe expand exponentially by increasing the space between all objects in the cosmos. The universe is expanding, and it's expanding exponentially...kinda like a child growing in a mother's womb...or maybe...like a fetus inside an egg...?

Yes it is the same author. He wrote The Egg, and the feedback he got was so positive that the internet encouraged him to write his first book. The Martian is that book.

this is actually crazy because it’s impossible to disprove. the way this is set up means that everyone is one person, but in different human lives sure of their own consciousness. because everyone is sure of their own consciousness there is no way to tell that another person with completely different beliefs, appearance, and lifestyle is yourself.

This is the first time I've watched a reaction video and in this case it was worth it. The Egg is one of my favourite stories and to see you awed the way i was was comforting. What a touching and reassuring concept especially if you have lost people.

I had tears in my eyes in the end of this short story. I have no idea why, it just made me feel a way I have no understanding of.
