Hey y'all! I know it's been a while. Wanted to share a bit of my birth story on the heels of Black Maternal Health Week. Our family was chosen to be an ambassador for March of Dimes which is an organization dedicated to ending preventable maternal health risks. Needless to say, I had to take it slow and ease back into everyday life. #blackmaternalhealth #postpartum #preeclampsia

Thank you for highlighting this issue. I had postpartum pulmonary embolism which really should have killed me but thank thank God I’m here and thank God you are too. #blackmaternalhealth
