The answer to defeating the Sith is Luke, and Obi-Wan was protecting that secret with is life.

Not to mention being obsessed with destroying the enemy is not the jedi way

Ezra was fighting his whole life to control his destiny. His journey as a Jedi was to learn to accept the will of the force, and help people where he can. He doesnt need to be the one to save the galaxy because that is not his destiny. He figures out that his role to play is a banish Thrawn and we will see where his story goes in Ahsoka.

I know a lot of people don’t actually like Ezra in rebels but I think they miss the point of his story. When we meet him he’s a kid who has had everything taken away from him and that’s all he knows until he met the ghost crew and they showed him how to give to others and that made him feel like he finally had something worth holding onto. He wanted to destroy the sigh because they were a threat to that plus we had Darth Maul come in and he manipulated Ezra into taking greater risks at the expense of those he loves. Ultimately Ezra’s need was to learn how to let go of what was holding him back, like his anger towards the sith and the grief of losing his parents and Kannen

Obi Wan knew Ezra was one of the weakest jedi he had ever seen and had no shot at defeating vader

Since its canon, Obi Wan probably has 0 idea about the rebellion just like darth vaders identity

Sorry, but being bound by fate and learning to accept that will never birth as compelling a story as someone who defies fate with every action they take and word they say. It's in our nature as humans to defy reason, no matter the odds.

Destiny is so dumb. Obi wan had the chance to kill Anakin back on Mustafar but supposedly left him cuz he felt that it was needed in a novelization. This action was reaffirmed in the Kenobi series where he faces off against Vader and defeats him yet again, only to leave him alive to terrorize and do more harm.

I understand Vader was needed to kill Palpatine but at the same time, it’s just frustrating how there doesnt seem to b any other way

Duh we know how the original trilogy play out. We all know erza wasn't going to defeat the sith. This was a very pointless plot line for erza.

If you know anything about star wars there is no such thing as destiny. Rebels fans ruined the franchise
