As a train driver, getting up at 3 AM is totally normal to me. I have to be at the train yard by 6 AM. That's why a good morning routine is very important. Funny enough, i always motivate myself by thinking to myself: "If you're late to work, hundreds of other people will probably be as well."

Thank you for explaining to your audience about how staying up late is no better than getting up early, and vice-versa. You’re the first person I’ve ever heard mention this. So many influencers preach how getting up early will make you so successful, and often judge those who stay up. This is a dilemma that I’ve had with myself for years. You’re the first person I’ve ever seen mention this, and advise their audience to follow their circadian rhythm. Thank you!!

I would like to say as a final year medical student myself that waking up at 3am is not necessary for success in medical school. I applaud Zeliha for her dedication in her work and studies (for she is a much more exceptional and clever student than me); she also states in the video why she chooses to wake up at 3am, but for the assurance of those who may see this and think this is normal for medical students and a representative snapshot, it is not. Work adequately at your own pace and prioritise well-being, and everything will work itself out.

The way she shows calmness and confidence in what she does given her stressful situation as a med student is inspiring. I hope the gas prices improve so at least they aren't freezing no more.

This only film footage's touched my heart to know that there are young people like you who take the time to get up very early in the morning to study and to train to know how to take care of the vulnerable, the needy and those who may be broken hearted for it's not easy for what you students are doing. I am immensely proud to see young people like that, who are a new generation of people that will make a big difference in the lives of many and in many years to come, not just because of the shortage of staff but also that they're very important people and I hope that they stick to it for many years to come. There's a place for everyone in this world for everyone's just as important. These are our heroes who make us proud and so give yourselves credit for it.

I had a rule at uni where i wouldn't work after dinner unless I had to, and if I had to it was usually just a reading I might've forgotten to do or some seminar prep. It was a good routine and really helped me get in some chill time in the evenings before going to sleep which then helped me wake up early and take advantage of my early morning productive time

I admire your dedication and discipline!! I recently began learning about the circadian rhythm and it's not often talked about therefore many people don't know how important it is and how it can affect you, it's such an interesting topic. You telling viewers to follow their circadian rhythm is amazing!! :)

she is SO right about how it depends on the person if you are more productive in the morning or at night. I absolutely cant manage to get up early and through school it always was a nightmare. I am most productive at night and tend to sleep somewhere between 4 am and 11 am

Wow, it's the first time I see a routine that just makes me feel less alone. Even though I always wake up extra early, hearing how most of my peers pull all-nighters while I struggle to do so makes me feel so guilty. This video just stated what I needed to hear, and I appreciate you giving that reassurance in the end that doing what works for you individually is what really matters because in the end, you want the routine that is sustainable because the academic journey is a marathon not a sprint. Thank you so much for such a serene video! Wishing you the best in your journey ♥

Back in my med school years, I often slept late (cause I study better at night when everybody's asleep) and I would wake up later in the day around 10-11am. It worked out for me. I've also tried waking up very early, like 2am xD just to study back in high school, but I couldn't do that now. Everybody is different and don't feel demotivated if you can't be 'that girl' that wakes up early and be super productive sometimes. YOU need to work out a schedule best for YOURSELF. Your routine is unique to you. I wish everybody the best in finding that sweet balance of sleeping/studying/waking up without compromising your wellbeing.

It's impressive how you manage your time and stay dedicated to your studies. Your emphasis on self-care, hydration, and mindfulness is so important. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing this glimpse into your life as a medical student.

studying architecture, I was pulling all-nighters all the time and wasn’t productive. I tried to copy other vloggers but nobody’s lifestyle was similar to mine. but I found you I copied your routine and it really has made my life a little easier. I feel well-rested and productive in the mornings and throughout the day. Also, a double breakfast is the best. I have lots of energy all day. thanks.

I love that you mentioned waking up early is no better or worse than staying up late and it's about our circadian rhythm. I'm definitely a night owl kind of person and always have been.

(Actually, my circadian rhythm thinks I'm in Australia when I'm in the US, so my routine is really weird, but I still get 7-9 hours of sleep.)

I wouldn't worry about not being social. To be honest, a lot of what people consider "being social" is just partying late at night and drinking. It'd just get in the way of your goals, and waking up with hangovers is no fun anyway. You can definitely still be social during hours that work for you without feeling like you're being "anti-social."

far from being a med student but as someone who started living on my own in my early 20s and tackling multiple jobs with early morning shifts, this video actually feels relatable/realistic and motivates me to keep going, compared to a lot of other morning routines i see on here. i appreciate you sharing, keep up the great work & take care of yourself ❤

I just finished my first year in medical school and I can't really feel more relate with your videos, I actually cry a lot at 3 am studying and feeling insecure about my knowlege, so we really apreciate you keep it real. I'm from Venezuela, and the medical system is pretty dificult, but something I really find relaxing is see your videos and watch how you romantizice this beautifull journey. btw you just not only encorage me to keep going but to practice my english skills. Thanks for all, you're great!
