I run an organic grow and I flush with straight water the last two weeks. So basically they just don't get any more organic teas. I tried the whole 48 Hours of Darkness I didn't see any difference even took before and after close up pictures to compare. the only thing I noticed with flushing with cold water at the end to try to increase trichome production and color was a stunted growth. Didn't notice any big color change either the way I look at it is why would you shock your plants at the end when your whole grow you avoided it. If you decided to leave your plants in darkness for two to three days why don't you just continue growing it for 2 or 3 days. I notice more trichome production and swelling just leaving it under it's light cycle. So now when it's time to harvest I just chop them down and hang them or let them go for 2 or 3 days more. And I hate to say it but let's face it it's all Bro Science yep I said it

If the theory of making the plant think it's autumn by putting ice on the roots then surely just lowering the temperature in the grow area would give the plant the same message! Flushing is definitely beneficial for growing in containers. I'm with you on the amber tricks. Love the show brother, blessings from England, PEACE.

I have a suggestion for you homeboy, and I'm not throwing any shade your way. Instead of telling people to buy their stuff on Amazon, tell them to go to their local grow shop and keep the love local.. I work in the local grow shop so I'm sure I'm more sensitive then most. But, if we want cool little shops in our towns, then we have to shop them.

does ice flushing to increase tricomes also works on autoflowering plants?

Another good flushing technique I recommend is at the start of the flush to about half way through the 10-14 days, use a microbial tea to help brake down excess nutrients, and help the plants take it up.

You put the sentiment on bro n science in perspective.
Half the fun with my grow is trying new things and learning.

Hey so have you used the fox farm ocean forest fertilizer to add to the happy frog soil. I add it when in flower after the happy frog has used up all it's nuts. Then I too dress with ocean forest.
