Definitely...all great spots for farming. I would also add a base near Bucceneer Bay and the Derketo Priestess.

I liked to build my base near the NPC city in that open area where all the scorpions and rhinos are. Lots of resources all over the place, and even a silver mine close by! Even got a pet tiger cub that hunts on a hill just beyond one of the city gates! Bit of a hike to get to the Black Galleon, though.

and i explain all youtubers try say... best locations are in upper position of map.
FALSE.
For level 1, BEGINNER, you cant go you first video base, caused enemies one shot you.
You need stay in one zone in map, for example H3, you can find stone, wood, animals, enemies drop you weapons, got water, and stone for created Iron.
For all begginers, you need put you base in south position.
If you look map you can see numbers and letters.
if you got high number for example F6, or F7 in level one.
Enemies instakill you.
and in this vídeo, the bases are in north of map.
