I was grinding vaults with a buddy last week and he told me this tip that he'd heard from you during one of your streams. It made it so much faster and we both kept saying "Thank you Phuzzy" when those vault doors opened lmao!

Opening Vault #20 :p was impressive and all, but I can't remember that stream for anything other than that pirate launching into your chainshot. Magical!

Such a cool guide but in the end, D.A sails will dominated forever if Rare does not give a "v-cut" variante to all sails - as soon as you buy the dark adventurer sails for example. 🤫

I just finished the hoarder of barnacle gold. I solo sloop, and it took a long time, but I really enjoyed that grind.

Nice one. I'd easily overlook the level 25 captain voyages. I've never seen anyone rocking these sails in game, I think I might finish the last few vaults and pop them on!

IMPORTANT UPDATE : Since Season 9, you save more by buying the new "Treasure Vault Haul for captained ship" voyages. You save 350 gold compared to a Gold Hoarder Commission voyage !
With this voyage, you only have a basic vault to open (with a 3 pieces map).

There are only two possible islands the vault could be on if you go to the Devils Roar. It is also usually easier to get map pieces faster that way.

I still need to grind out both this and the Tribute Chest commendations, both sold to GH and sold to Reapers. I did get a chance to try out the Captian Bundle quest once or twice and it's a lot easier to get all the treasure out with those low tier vault quests solo than it is at higher tiers. Given that I do often end up Solo Slooping, this is a good thing.
Though I do wonder how many people got the Tribute Chest commendations through Shrines & Treasuries rather than vaults...

I learned about this yesterday ^^ opened 86 lvl 50 vaults so far .. remember though there's also a Reapers Bones 50 chests commendation. So it can be worth it to sell it there too
