Operations Research Analyst H-1B for Tech Company Approved

Most of the time, we’re able to work with the H-1B beneficiary and the HR department of the company to come up with a role and job title that’s most likely to be approved by the USCIS. In this case, that wasn’t possible. The company was locked in on a low wage and the job title of “Operations Research Analyst,” both of which may be triggers for a Request for Evidence (RFE) by USCIS. We used two unique strategies to support our client. We referred to a highly respected institution other than O*NET, that clearly stated that a typical operations research analyst’s job duties are highly specialized and complex. Then, we put the applicant’s credentials front and center of the application, showing that he was highly qualified for this position. The case was approved shortly after and our client was very satisfied with the results!
