One Thing I Hate About Xiaomi Hyper OS!

If you’re using MIUI now, you can just apply on Xiaomi’s website, and normally you get bootloader unlocking access in like 7 days. But on Xiaomi’s n ew HyperOS, they have made Unlocking bootloaders unnecessarily difficult for users as you have to be a level 5 Xiaomi community member to even apply for unlocking the bootloader.

This is a big bad news for Xiaomi users, and we hope Xiaomi addresses this concern and fixes it soon.

Xiaomi really thinks that we don't know about direct CPU bootloader unlock. I unlooked my note 8 pro in 10 seconds with mtkclient for mediatek. But there are tools for other CPU brands like Snapdragon.

Yeah that's a bummer... The one reason I still preferred Xiaomi devices over BBK devices is the ability to unlock bootloader.
