I have an odd sensory toy suggestion from work... I work with kiddos on the spectrum and several were fascinated with the boot cleaner brush by the door. So now we have clean ones in the room as sensory toys, (they even make them in cute animal shapes) i think it’s something about the stuff bristles and the swooshy sound it makes when you rub your hand or foot over it. Having to stand on one foot to scrape them with your foot is good balance exercise too!

I can totally relate I used to walk into toys stores and walk out crying because my son didn't use age appropriate toys heck he wasn't even in age appropriate clothes because he was so small. He's 6 and has Autism I shop online now so I don't have to walk down the aisles anymore. This year is going to be a hard Christmas because the only thing he is asking for is a pogo stick but his poor muscle strength is going to be a challenge. I'm assuming there will be a lot of tears but we will work through as a team like we always do. I did end up getting a mini trampoline with a handle as an alternative if the pogo stick doesn't work. Hopefully it goes well!!

You know this Vlogmas is really making this Christmas happier for us. Sometimes I have a pity party and feel like I'm the only one dealing with such things. I got emotional when you mentioned walking down the baby aisle.You know, that's just hard. You DO make a huge difference for me and Nicolas by reminding me to look at the wonderful things we can do together and acceptance is most important. I was focusing on all he couldn't do, overlooking all the many things he can do. Thanks. I'm so blessed the Lord lead me to your channel.

My son is higher functioning but he really loves thinking putty right now. Its perfect size for stockings too. Maybe not for everybody but a decent parental supervision toy

The jelly bubble thing is awesome!!! I got some last year and they are literally like super squishy balloons. We didn't blow ours up super big, so that it would fit in your hand and you could just squeeze it. ~ ❤
