Its rough when you realize your an adult now and its rough for parents to adjust to that. I feel this from both perspectives. It was frustrating for me to adult when i started with my mom still checking up on me every day... But now that my kids are grown i know the pain of having to let go. Its hard to not take care someone precious to you and who has always needed it until recently. Just know that your mom will ALWAYS mom you, no matter how grown amd self sufficient you get. Its just so ingrained into us and how much we love our babies, that the instinct just never goes away. ❤
