People often think there is a simple problem that can be fixed by a novice. If you do not have an underlying understanding of the principles behind fridge technology I suggest that you get someone in who does or alternatively buy in a replacement.

Hi, my DEFY F-600LM (14yrs old) freezer not working well… only freezers to maximum —2degC?… I stripped the defrost element out and measured 179 ohms on defrost element?… is that a decent reading?…. I’ve replaced the compressor with a commercial 1/4HP unit…but still doesn’t cool very well?… now stripping defrost system…but load shedding here?… any solutions or light you could shed on the problem?
