Man Ryder made a fan out of me for sure. He showed what a fighter is all about, a true warrior, got knocked down and gets back up swinging! Went the distance and stayed busy all the way through. Amazing fight tonight guys.

Agreed, canelo clearly won the fight but canelo of a couple of years ago would have stopped Ryder. He seems to have lost a step and his defence is nowhere near as smooth and he took more punches than he normally would. He looked 5 years older than his age in there maybe the wear and tear is getting to him but I try not to judge too much based on one performance maybe his next performance will be better

I’m officially a fan of Ryder. He went out on his shield and showed he’s a true warrior. He didn’t have the right game plan to beat Canelo. You can’t beat Canelo with just hooks and uppercuts. Canelo looked slow and old for Canelo. But I suspect that has more to do with fighting a similar style than Canelo aging.
