Canelos problem is his regression to his 154 fighting style. He went back to brawling and constant pressure fighting rather than sniping counters to the body. He was excellent entering 160 and between the fight against Kovalev and Saunders. After that he just got confident in his power and forgot about the beautiful set ups.

For those who actually watched the entire fight know very well, Canelo was losing composure for the last 3 rounds. Not saying he was in danger of losing, or that Ryder is an average boxer, but because it’s no where near the caliber he needs to be at to fight Bivol again. He’s still lethal, but he needs to tap into his 2015-2018 killer instinct. 32 is not old for a boxer

Y’all forget canelo just came back from king inactivity due to hand surgery. This was literally a tune up fight and still made it look easy despite it being at his best.
