The HTC One is like no other HTC device. The build quality is a whole new world.

The phones are insanely similar on all of those fronts. Differences in those arenas are negligible. S4 will have a 32gb model on the 10th.

Both, everything. They are simply the best phone speakers EVER. Stereo separation etc. I can fully enjoy Game of Thrones on the One while sitting on my couch WITHOUT headphones.

Modern Android devices have made major progress in the lag department, I don't notice it anymore.

This is probably the most unbiased review I've seen so far for these phones. Well played, sir. I understand people choosing the One over the S4. I'm a first time Android user after having the iPhone since 2007. I played around with both phones extensively when trying to make the tough choice. Ultimately, I chose the S4 because I found the screen real estate and the vibrant AMOLED colors slightly better. I actually find TouchWiz to be a nice aesthetic software despite all the bloat.
