It's a really pet peeve of mine. It is so annoying when you hear people say megabyte when you know they mean megabit and the math is way off because of it.

Internet providers should be banned from using Mbps in their ads. We don't care about your BIG numbers, we want to know what will be the REAL transfer speed - MEGABYTES per SECOND.
