And Polly’s lyrics you quoted, a quite succinct statement of how the individual bandmembers melded their personal gifts into one beautiful musical tapestry called “the Pink Floyd Sound”! It is SOUL-STIRRING music that is “Louder Than Words” indeed! Polly is quite the gifted lyricist. Beside Roger’s lyrics to the masterful music of “The Dark Side Of The Moon”, my favorite lyrics in the Pink Floyd catalog are those of “SORROW” from the album “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason”.
