Oh wow! I bought this for myself back in 2013 remembering that my mom used to wear this shade. At the time they also had a single shadow of Black Honey too, which was wild because on me it looked like a burgundy shade, but on my friend (who has a darker complexion) it looked almost iridescent pink! Forgot how much I loved the ease of this lipstick, might need to pick it up again!

I've been wearing this since middle school in the very early 90s, and 30 years later, I still keep one in my vanity and one in my purse at all times. This is an absolute staple in my collection.
FTR, ELF has a great dupe if you're not willing to shell out 20 bones on lipstick.

I have worn this for 35 years… your lips bit better is the best description! No matter the occasion, it’s perfect. Put a redder lipliner and you’ve got the perfect shade. Slap in on in the car at a stop light.. perfect color. Love it!

My Mom used to be the Marketing Manager for Clinique Canada. This lipstick colour has been a BESTSELLER since it got launched. It looks great on everyone. I have to laugh at the VIRAL tag though—can something be viral if it’s been huge for 50+ years? I’m glad it’s still a hit. It deserves to be 💄❤️

I’ve loved this for at least 6 years! Clinique Black Honey Pop blush is also my favorite. I’ve heard a good dupe for the lipstick is Nivea BlackBerry lip balm.

I first purchased and wore this as a freshman in high school in 1993. I last purchased this late last year (2020) and last used it about a month ago. Clinique gets so much heat, but they have some incredible products. They've never changed their aesthetic, and imo their aesthetic is still relevant and timeless.

Clinique's Black Honey is literally my favorite thing ever. My mom got a sample of it and didn't like it and gave it to me and I've been obsessed ever since.

I remember my mom putting one of these in my Christmas stocking...in 1998. I wore it on and off until around 2002. Girls on my tennis team would sometimes share one in the locker room before heading out just in case their crush was in the student center as we headed out to the field.

This is great! I didn't know this was a viral lipstick. Total blast from my past. I remember when I was a teen back in the 80s my mom bought me this lipstick. At the time, Clinque seemed like such a fancy and expensive brand you could only buy it behind the counter at the department store. It felt so luxurious to go to the counter for a "consultation" and have the ladies pull the products out in their beautiful packaging. Now in the department stores they have it out on the floor, and you can just pick it up without asking for someone to pull it. Also, Ulta, Sephora, Amazon and even Target carry this brand now.

My Clinique Black Honey pulls the same color as your lipstick. I have the Nivea Blackberry lip care. It isn’t as pigmented because it is a lip balm vs a lipstick. It definitely gives you a similar look for about $3. Both are quite nourishing on the lips this time of year.

This was my first lipstick and I have not worn any other color since, I am in my 60s. We had it going on in the ‘70s. It is a beautiful color. Many things from the past come back around. Way to go CLINIQUE!
