why when i plug everything in it works on my xbox i can see my screen but nothing pops up on the elgato software i cant record anything

I install it now on my Macbook Pro and i cant hear sound. I really dont get it.
I clicked Sound Output and choose Elgato HD60 X but i cant hear anything.
Can u please help me

Got everything hooked up and together. (series x mated to a HD60X) I can capture gameplay just fine but when viewing on elgato itself or even a media player the gameplay is sped up. If I try and slow it down the sound because slowed down. Any ideas of what I can do to fix this issue? Thank you!

I upgraded from the hd60s+ to the hd60 x so I could play at 1440 120 hz while streaming st 1080 60hz but I can't seem to get 1440 to stick at 120hz. I had it going last night messing with some of the EDID settings on 4K capture utility app but can't seem to get it going today for some odd reason. I'm on an Xbox series X I updated the elgatos drivers also by holding the control key on my keyboard while pressing the gear button within the 4K capture app. It seems I can play at 4K 60 hz but can't get 1440 at 120hz.

My problem is that when I try to capture party audio either my audio isnt included or the party's.

I have everything set up as instructed and it still doesn't want to allow me to get my audio no matter which mic i use.

How if there’s only one hdmi port on the Xbox and I need two, one from my monitor to my Xbox to start the Xbox and one from elgato to Xbox so I’m really confused

Is there a game capture that can record video/audio just using the game capture device, gaming console, and the tv you are playing on? Seems like we have the tech not to need an entire separate monitor and computer also in the equation.

I recently got this capture card In yesterday and I’ve been having some problems with capturing the gameplay audio while streaming to OBS. Everything else works and functions properly when I’ve got things pulled up, but every time I try to play a game the audio only comes through in the slightest, distorted amount. Any clue on a fix for this? Thanks in advance!
