Montgomery Teen gets Golden Buzzer on AGT

A local teen hit all the right notes and earned a golden buzzer on America's Got Talent!

I'm amazed with the song choice of the younger talents. Some of the younger contestants are choosing Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner. Some remarkable song choices.

If you look at his hair in this interview (and other interviews) and his AGT performance, you get the sense that someone thought he looked like Jack Vidgen from Australia's Got Talent. Vidgen, in turn, auditioned when Justin Bieber was huge, and Bieber had a certain way of styling his hair back then. Apparently, Vidgen had his hair styled that way. Vidgen was also blond like Reid. I bet they thought, let's style his hair to look like Jack Vidgen, i.e., the Bieber style from like a decade ago.

I thought Reid had a great performance. He appeared more nervous here than he did with millions of people watching. I'm also rooting for another young contestant that got 4 yes's. Singer/Songwriter Oscar Stembridge from Sweden. I enjoy these types of performances much more than the jugglers, tumblers and those sort of acts. Really hope one of these young guys win this thing. Their both very special individuals.
