ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.

The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.

This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.

Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I can't stop listening to Lila. It's clear that she is on her way to great success after the VOICE. When the coaches were blown away by Lila's tone I had many superstars going through my memory that she reminded me of: Sarah McLachlan, Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Christine McVie, Tracy Chapman, and perhaps Eva Cassidy. I am excited for Lila's future and have already purchased her music. I'm a big fan.

When I tell people I can't stand when people over-do runs in songs, and y'all get ticked off? THIS is NOT what I mean. I always say there's a time, a place, and even a song, when runs belong. THIS is one of those. They're NOT "vocal gymnastics". These are soft runs, that flow with the song, and are actually a PART of her telling the story.

This was beautifully done.
