Great video, just what I needed. I bought the bushings and the new top clamp and hopefully, my bars won't move as much. I have 14 inch bars on a road king special

Good video. Didn’t know they made an aftermarket top clamp for the bars, a good idea for that top clamp is to take the set screws out one by one with the bars set and use a drill bit to divot the bars to keep them in place no matter how hard you pull.

sorry if this has been asked before; do you loc-tite your set screws when changing to the aluminum strap? my apes pull down like bicycle handle bars if i accidentally (or with intention) accelerate and leave my body's inertia to slide back on the bike.

thanks.

I put 14 inch meat hooks on my 21 street glide. Should there be a higher torque than on stock bars.

Great Information & Coaching Robert! However, on 2008 -2013 FLH/FLTs, 2013-2016 FLHs/FLTs and all the newer M8 Touring class bikes what have you found as a "BEST/BETTER" Practice (Tactic, Technique, Procedure (TTP)) in getting the NEW Poly Bushings y'all sell in to the BRACKET, upper fork stem (PN 45435-10). I got the lower bushing in to the "CUP WASHER" by tricking it! I put it on one from the above then using petroleum oil worked it in to the top (lipped) end. Then backed the bushing and cup washer (bottom) off the top cup washer. But now!?! I'm screwed! This TTP is NOT translating very well to installing and seating the top bushing and cup washer! Now WHAT?

Just wondering if you make a retro clamp for the handlebars that will make it a one piece across the top I have an ultra classic with some 16s on it and would like a clamp like that

On the stock clamp why not just shave off a couple thousandths for a better grip and drill and tap three 1/8 npt holes with allen head screws?

They should design a center section and top clamp that fit together like gears. Still adjustable but no slip. Easier said than done I’m sure.

Where do I get the clamp. I own a 2009 street glide and can’t stop the handle bars from moving back and forth.

And when did Harley use a two strap bar clamp. Curious since I've been riding Harley's for 36 years and never seen one such equipped
